I'm not even going to read all of the above. All i know, is that the white man can't say anything now, without it being considered racist. For example, i read a post earlier about a co-worker saying somethig about his black co workers skin for being able to light a litgher. Boo freaking hoo. If that's racist, you must have an easy job with nothing more to worry about. However, if your black, hispanic, mixed breed, or whatever, anything you say or do, is not racist. I know i'll get some stupid remarks back, but it's the truth.

I always though discrimination based on race was wrong in any form and regardless of race. I guess I was taught wrong and now I can say I hate honkies with no problem

I honestly don't care if someone calls me a derogatory name because I'm white. Not because I don't think I deserve it, but because I really don't care.
I will however be pissed for other people if they are called a derogatory name. Racism (and I'll include anti-semitism here) is still a problem, and it used to be a serious problem. There's a reality that someone black will not get a job over someone white who's less qualified. Thats not going to be the situation for white people in a very long time (and please, don't give me that bullshit that black people are getting jobs over white people because now everyone feels like they should hire them, all the racist people i've heard say that are underqualified and stupid).
I can't believe you guys. You've probably never even experienced true racism in your life, and you think you have the right to bitch?

For some reason I don't think you actually care about racism until it comes knocking at your door.

Yeah you are right, I have grown up in all whit neighborhoods where there may have been one non white family and everyone spoke perfect english

Not speaking for anyone but myself but I stood out like a sore thumb in the hood I grew up in. Did it bother me? nope not at all. my best friends lived in that neighborhood and were of all kinds of races. Funny thing is that not once did we use any of those terms to describe each other nor did we see the need to.
Yeah we did our dirt and probably caused more problems than we should have gotten away with, but race was never even though about...it was a non issue.
