the only time i use ac/heat in my car is when theres a girl in the car.

otherwise, i rarely use it by myself. i just open the sunroof and window and light up a cigarette h:

At interstate speeds (60mph+), you're better off with the windows shut and the AC on. Below 60mph or so, the drag from open windows is less substantial. And at city cruising speed, aerodynamic drag isn't really an issue.

On a long highway trip, the difference can be significant... a loss of 3-5 mpg due to drag with the windows down.

mythbusters said the windows down was better, but they were only going 45. Make that 70, and A/C may very well be better.

I would expect that to be the case; drag increases exponentially as function of speed. As speed doubles, drag goes up by a factor of four. :run:
