I feel for ya man, I mean I have had a lot of close friends pass in highscool and my extended family. It was tough but is serious and you should seek help for this one and I doubt the forums could do that. My Grandmother basically raised me and when she passed it took me a year to get my head right. Luckily my wife and daughter were there and really helped me through it. At least you are talking open about it and not holding the pain in....keep your head up and god speed. Memories can never be taken away...cherish those and remember the happy moments you had together.

dude, if there's a chance that a loved one is going to just die in their sleep, when they are otherwise young and appear healthy, i'd like to know what that chance is..

Sorry to hear that bro...

Take your time to move on. Take it slow and you need to mourn so let it come out, but don't let it take over your life.

Sorry guys, wasn't really trying to yell at you. It just felt to me like if he wanted to tell us he would have done so in the OP.... No hard feelings k?

im so sorry about your loss. your loss is so recent, im glad u have decided to reach out to us. u are not alone in this process. u might want to look up and read Elisabeth Kubler Ross's '5 Stages of Grief'. the 5 stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. they do not always occur in that order. they can overlap and you can return to them more then once. there is no time table on grief. everyone is different. i hope you can find some help and guidance. check your newspaper, church, school, library for a support group.

I can't even begin to grasp the level of loss you feel.. I've been through the death of a close friend, but that hardly compares. :hs:

Please know that you have my deepest and most sincere condolences.
