Yeah for backup they'd probably be nice, but I'm too much of a dumbass to do shit like that. I have my laptop backed up on an external because of my financial shit, but this thing has nothing valuable on it.

I'd probably buy one, but I think I'm too ADD. There's only a handful of movies I can watch more than once. :happysad:

no

nero / nero start smart wont convert to dvd

first you have to convert your avi/wma/etc to dvd compatible mpeg files (converting/encoding)
then you have to convert those to .vob files(authoring)
now you go do nero, and burn the vob files as DVD-Video(burning)

I dont have naervision (its not part of the main nero suite), but i guess it would do the converting an authoring in one step.

Do you poop computers? I've never seen you not be able to answer a computer related question.

well I guess I dont either....damnit....so what can I use to convert all that stuff?....yes I am a n00b with the stuff so bear with me

hey you said that you dont have the nerovision...well check this out...its a free upgrade if you want to try it...im dling it now.....

give nerovision a try... it should be able to do wmv and avi.

if not post back, and ill see if i can find another alternative.

intervideo windvd creator is a pretty simple program that can convert mpeg and avi to dvd format and burn it. i'd suggest that for a beginner.

i bought mine, but most people just download it off the torrent sites.
