i don't remember too well, but i saw as low as 85 in nevada and as high as 94 in indiana.

do you have AAA insurance? if you go to their office, they plan the ENTIRE freakin trip for you. they print out a custom booklet with maps, distances, directions, tolls, time, etc. or that microsoft map program is very useful too i heard.

I want to do it in four days so I only have to spend three nights in motels. I'm cheap. I figure it will take 15 tanks of gas (400 km/tank), so roughly $650...cheaper than shipping the car and more fun.
interstates do not have tolls. The only time you'll find a toll is if there was some recent project that needs to be payed for (rare), or sometimes when an interstate goes right through the middle of a city, its easier to take an alternate (toll) route to avoid traffic. But generally speaking, no tolls.

I drove from San Diego to Orlando in 32 hours with a buddy. We drove non-stop and only rested for drive through food, gas, and bathroom breaks. We were on a fucking mission. Marked a road map with times at each stop to verify the times. On another note, neither of us had licenses.

No but I've been to the top and bottom of the US. That is if you consider FL keys the bottom I mean.

you recommend taking the interstate instead of the trans-canada highway?
