Default Anyone drive from coast to coast?

As the title says, anyone drive from coast to coast? Something like LA - NYC. I'm thinking of doing it in the S. Wondering how long it will take, 4 days driving 15-16 hours a day? h:

I have driven from CO to VA and back, CO to BC and back, but never all the way across at once. Ask Lee how long it took, he went from MI to CA, so tack a day onto that, and you might be close :dunno:

What season did you go through? I'm thinking of taking the Canadian route which seems a bit longer but the US one has tolls I think. Wait, do all interstates have tolls?

I want to do it in four days so I only have to spend three nights in motels. I'm cheap. I figure it will take 15 tanks of gas (400 km/tank), so roughly $650...cheaper than shipping the car and more fun.

I'm actually planning on doing this with a couple friends this summer as well.

Should be fun. We're thinking ~3 week road trip all over the country.
