That's a great time. I have a 10k, a 5k over the Coronado Bridge and a half marathon coming starting March.

Hopefully I'll get to the Vegas Marathon this year.

I'm not fast, (8.5-9-10min) per mile, but I can run for a while.. farthest run was in New York and ran approx 25 that day. Fun times.

I was at 7 for the first 2 miles. Then alternated between 6.5 - 7 for the rest. I stopped to walk twice for about 1-2minutes because my calfs were burning. But that was after the 4th mile.

that is the lactic acid burn muscle tissue puts off as it burns carbs. good progress!
