break up with my gf of 4++ years, whom I have been living with (and still am) for 2.5 yrs?? i'm sad to say this, but her temper's been getting worse each and every day.... we fight like every other day, and her arguement is always "it's ur fault, and it's always ur fault!!" wtf?? and worse thing is tht she's so freakin competitive in terms of looks as she always wanna be the best looking... tht mean dieting and shopping every weekend!! when she diets, her fuse gets really short, and would always say i dun support her... hell, i'm a guy and i love eating out! whenever we get into a fight abt dieting, i'll prefer to eat out... and guess wat? she'll always say that I have too much ego to say sorry and ask her to cook for me again!!!!!

i dunno how much longer i have to put up with this shit... thing is, if she moves out, i can't afford the freakin rent... and we have all this shit in the apt... how r we supposed to divide tht up? man, i feel like i'm getting a divorce when i'm not even married!!

make her a treasure hunt of a some sort... tell her a prize is at the end... then change the locks while shes out... with a note on the front door with her stuff saying shes been a bitch lately and u didnt want to hear her bitch when you guys break up

 

I would just try and work it out ,but thats just me. i mean look at it youve been together for a long time and you guys have just started fighting isnt it kinda normal?? usually ppl who really like each other fight alot. but thats just my $0.02 i could be wrong

and the thing abt her is tht i think she's emotionally unstable... over the past couple months, she'd 1. threaten me with a knife 2. lock herself in the bathroom and threaten to commit suicide (had to freakin break down the door for tht)

also, i duno wat she's complaining abt since i pay most of the bills, maintaine both cars, do some of her HW, manage her financials, etc...

people change man... no matter how much you go through something with someone, that chance of them changing to ur dislike, no matter how small it may be, is always there... u just gotta do what u have to do to make yourself happy sometimes

tell her straight up... seriously... if u want to work it out then do it... if your not happy just straight up tell her and cut it

 

you make alot of sense and i agree with you but thats basically like 4 + years lost ,atleast try to fix it ,but if not just say "im the juggernaut bitch" and be off

 

If anything, I would try and fix it. Then if you still not happy, break it off. If she is unstable now, wait til your end her 4+ year relationship with you. She will be even more unstable...who knows what she is going to do.

I don't know dude, thats tough. I'd say tell her she has two options: either go to couple's counseling or you guys need to break it off.
