Default Question #2

What exactly is behind my front and rear bumpers? Is there like some kind of metal brace that is removable?

you have the bumer reinforcement, and a foam piece. Both are removable. But if you remove the bumper reinforcemnet you wouldnt be able to mount your bumper

yes you can. Me and my dad was trying to put on a shitty fiberglass body kit rear bumper on a 2001 Civic at work one day, and we had to remove the reinforcement to make it halfway fit...and we still could mount the rear bumper cover.

But we put the reinforcement back on since the kit didn't fit fo' shit.

I dunno, do I need the other stuff? Isn't it just for when you're stupid enough to bump something at under 5 mph?
