I was almost dunking in HS, I was 5'6" and about 145lbs, I could grab rim with 2 hands just jumping str8 up. I would have been able to dunk if I could palm a BBall, small hands make me have to cuff the ball and lose like 6". I was able to dunk a volleyball w/o a prob. I had a higher vertical then everyone on the basketball team. i need to get my hops backh:

Thats impressive. I am 5'9.5" and I only can grab like half the net h:

I use to wear ankle weight to HS, we had a three story HSh: I'd run the stairs and do jumping excercises under the backboard. It just got to a point where I don't think I could get much more vertical, the gains weren't coming fast enough I got pwned for being whiteh:

Now I'm 5'7" and I weigh around 167-170, so the added weight is holding me down a lot, I can barely tap the rim now

3 years ago i was dunking but then i qiut playing...i don't think i can even touch backboard.

ankle wieghts are really bad they can fuck up your balance and you could never be the same...this happened to a friend of mine.

Not if you have them on correctly, they have to be VERY tight, if they flop around at all they can screw you up.

ankle wieghts aren't worth it. theirs other ways to jump higher
