Turn on your TV, 80% of the channels on TV is geared towards this "white" culture. It doesnt need to be labeled "white television". This "black television" stuff is nothing more than marketing to draw people in.

And you dont have to be living during the segregation era to see the results of it. We would all be lying if we say that racism that started back then still isnt occuring now.

And youre gonna to put the usual disclaimer of..."oh I am not racist...because I have black friends"...but you start off your argument with "You know all these african americans(not the ones whos earning a decent living, i respect them) coming up with ways to milk america of their money, having 5 or 6 kids to get a fat welfare check needs to have a reality check". I know plenty of Asians, Hispanics, Greens, and Blues that do the exact same thing. What did that little bit have to do with the news story?

The story is about a honors English teacher (who gives a fuck what color he is) who used a word that I agree was inappropriate in the classroom to a student (who gives a fuck what color he is). The kid had the right to complain. The teacher deserved the suspension. And those of you that say that the family was in it for the money, where in the story did it mention it?

 

Should he be suspended? Yes. Should he lose his job? No.

 

In my previous post I was going to go on about the difference between n!gga and n!gger... but I have done that on two separate occaisions and it seems to bring up too much conflict...


But there IS a huge difference and people need to calm the fuck down about all this shit. No one alive today was responsible for the events that went on so long ago... and everyone wants to be equal now, which is how it should be. But if you want to be totally equal, dont bring that shit up. Every people at one time or another has suffered injustices, some more then others, but you have to LET IT GO AND MOVE ON!

I dont go around throwing the word N1gger around... I know what it means and it was a negative term. N!gga on the other hand has been glorified... and if thats what it has turned into, then ANYONE should be able to use it freely. If you don't want certain people to use it, don't use it yourself. Its like parents cussing in front of their little kids all the time, and slapping the shit out of your kids when they repeat it.

So it's one of those things where you look around real quick to make sure then you say it huh?

Since you think it is so ok then why would you even have to worry about who hears it? Would you say it in a mixed crowd of people? If I walked up and said something like, "What up my chink" would that be ok? How about, what up my honky"? Since we are tossing around racial inflectives why not insert kike, gook, wop or any other racial term that can be thought of?

Why just limit the phrase to one race if it isn't meant as an insult and is nothing more than a word replacing "dude". I mean shit I could think of a couple hundred things to put in there instead.
