so 1hr 45min into it, i FINALLY start the DSL portion of the install, only to find that the onboard NIC is defective & have to crack the case & put in a PCI NIC card........& another reboot.

i finally configure the modem & all the settings & stuff we have to do. 2hrs 45min total & give the guy the bill ....for what he paid to have it installed on his shitbox pc that won't work worth a damned on DSL, he coulda had the majority of the price of a good barebones dell that'd been 20x the pc he had.

$80 first half-hour & $55 per half-hour after that. so 3hr repair = $355 h: wned:
