eating is the key that it seems so many people miss. i've been taking in upwards of 5000 calories (good calories: protein/carbs) a day which is a lot easier said than done. about 2000 of those calories come from cytogainer. other supplements are creatine (which is already in the cytogainer), glutamine, and shark cartalidge for my achy joints.

:werd:what you eat is so key. the quality of the food you eat as well as the quantity of food you eat.

you must be really happy with the results, thats a lot of declipline. props to you.

Creatine is no joke, I used that in highschool, OMG I got so huge, the only problem is you get dehydrated really easily so you gotta drink a shit load of water to stay hydrated.

I'm still using my old ass pulley system in my garage (pullies haven't been greased in 5yrs). I'm benching all 200lbs on it and doing 200lbs with the lateral bar.

And just to show how much extra tension is on my system from not greasing it. When I was just barely comfortable lifting 180lbs on it, I was able to rep (2x10) 205lbs on free weights. I'm definitely a lot stronger now, I'll have to make the switch to free weights pretty soon, so I can push myself harder. I hope to rep above 250ish or so by end of next month.

Been doing a lot of pushps in the last couple weeks with a weighted backpack and pushup bars on the highest setting. All sorts from close to wide spread and different hand positions. Mad reps till extreme failure and maximum burn.

Had a lifting session on monday with my buddies in his garage.. (He has a nice olympic setup) and repped 335 8 times. (flat bench)

I'm trying to up my max bench.

I figure if I keep it up and really push, I'll break 400 by summer.

Also working my back and bi's again after taking a while off from focusing on those.

I work the rack from 30 lb dumbells to 65 lb alternating arms till failure. 1 set of each weight all the way up and back down to the 25 lb dumbells untill I look like a sissy barely able to get them up.

Also still running 10-20 miles a week.

I'm stuck at 193lbs, trying to get into the 180's, but I don't think its going to happen.. too much body fat (and drinking).

I am still at 210 but I see that as a good thing since3 I have been sick for the last month and had to discontinue my workout schedule all together. Once my back returns to normal I will be able to start up again which I hope is soon.
