My best advice for you is to go into a store and play with those models. That is how I chose the Pioneer over the Alpine. I am probably a bit biased towards Pioneer because Ive had their units for years and am pretty familiar with the menu layouts. The only thing I dont like about my Pioneer is the lack of a motorized face plate, no tilt, and the display is bad in the sun with here the headunit is located in my Integra.
