Wisdom Teeth Experiences
i had 3 removed a while ago,... i got the gas + the IV,... hurted like a Mofo later night night,... nothing a few Percocets couldnt handle,... but it got infected a few days later,... had to get it drained and flushed,... felt fine after that
Is it normal for the doc to cut the tooth first before removing it? Doc told me because of the way the teeth were coming out (it was practically horizontal) that it had to be cut first so that the removal would be easier (and I guess less painful).

All four of mine were horizontally impacted. The x-ray looked somewhat like this:

I got put the hell to sleep for em. The pain was pretty bad for maybe that first day I had em out, and persisted for the next few days but was liveable.
The most annoying part was that the sockets take a long time to fill in. So long afterthe pain is gone, you still have these freakin holes in the back of your mouth and food and gunk gets all caught up in em. The dentist gave me a like, water-shooty syringe looking thing that I had to fill up with warm salt water to shoot gunk out of the sockets. I had to do that for months afterwards, but eventually the sockets filled in and I didn't need the water shooty thing any more.

Worst shit ever for me. It hurt so bad...and since it hurt bad i took alotta meds, that made me all cracked out and sleepy. E3nine was there with me for my healing time, and he basically sat there on the computer while i slept.
Oh yah, and he got to watch me pull bloody gauze outta my mouth every few hours too. LoL. Ewe.
BUt i kow other ppl who didn't have any probs with it all all. So i guess it depends on jo0!
i had one that was inpacted for 5 or 6 years but never caused me any pain, so i took the "you leave me alone, i'll leave you alone" route with it.
then, i had my wreck & my jaw broke right @ that tooth. they cut it out while they were reconstructing my jaw
