I was rooting for the Sox this series but man what a cheap way to win. These umps suck.

I'm not sticking up for anyone, but I have a question ... what is a catch?

The ball CLEARLY touched the ground at one point. It rattled around the leather and the dirt and was picked up cleanly.

Is it like NFL rules where if there's no possession of the ball? I'm a bit confused

i saw it bounce against the dirt man. It hit the leather first, but I saw it rattle against the ground.

I have absolutely no bias towards either team.

The ball hit the dirt.

I don't know how these reporters can say it didn't cause you can see it hit the dirt and come up into the mitt.
