thats the mistake, they didnt make bigger displacement B-series than the B20 nor did they have any s/c or turbo setups. thats why i left out the honda v6's and the F(including S2000) and H series.
The K24 in the TSX is nice too, but do a search on how everyone thinks about that engine's performance in that car, and the common answer is "gutless".
We can go into swaps and such, but I'm talking about factory bone-stock performance.
i have a tsx and it has quite a lot of power...but i guess you don't understand honda that well..."do less with more" has always been a focus of this company...the d16 in the civics were as powerful and made the car as quick as the 2.2 liter competition - heck gm/ford/etc no longer sell 4 cylinder engines in mid size cars b/c these small honda engines were too good...they were so good that they still made more power than the base v6s
Killing the Prelude, although it wasn't really mistake because they weren't selling well.
THEY NEED TO MAKE THE PRELUDE RWD! I THINK THEY WOULD SELL A LOT MORE IF THEY FEATURED THE F SERIES AND HAD IT COMPETE WITH THE S2K BUT AS A LESS "SPORTSCAR" VIEW. I.E. NO CONVERTIBLE, MORE THAN 2 SEATS ETC. I WOULD DEFINATELY BUY ONE ESP. IF IT HAD LSD

That's a really good point. My mom's 96 Mercury Tracer (Rebadged Ford Escort) had a 2.0L that made a whopping 105hp and probably significantly less torque. It was a damn dog. In comparison Honda's engine with 20% less displacement was wayyyy more powerful.
People who don't know shit about cars (read: people who only keep up with the Mustangs, Camaros and GTOs of the land) have a hard time believing I have a four cyl. I had a good girl_friend from high school tell me that I didn't know what I was talking about and if my car was -that- fast -- it must've had a V6. Funny thing is, I'm making more horsepower STOCK than her Camaro (V6 auto; or any Mustang V6 created), I have wayyy less drivetrain losses, and I'm oh -- probably 400lbs lighter.
The Caps Lock Button Came Optional On My Keyboard, I Knew I Shouldve Shelled Out The Money But At The Time I Just Couldn't Afford It
You need to do the CAPS/Keyboard conversion then. I think Golden Eagle sells a good kit. Be sure to get that tuned right, a lot of people think the CAPS/Keyboard conversion is just throwing a CAPS head on a Keyboard block but little do they realize they'll need to reprogram the computers BIOS to accept CAPS technology, and drill the CAPS jet line so the CAPS technology will actually engage.
True, I've been thinkin about doin this conversion for a while...i just need to finda caps lock head for cheap thats complete and find a good shop that will do it for me.

Heavy ass prelude compete with a s2000? hahhaha
