Well, i'm about to open the biggest can of worms on this site i bet you..

I wanna voice about street racing and why everyone on this site clams they dont do it, or even better the mod's always say "take it to the track" and what not..

Every fourm, from clubsi,clubrsx to everything hosted on we-did-todd-racing.com has a kill fourm.. you flame and down people because they like to street race and you clam you haven't..

Anyone in this "game" has street raced and if you say you haven't your a god damn liar..Maybe not now or before but you have or you will and lets talk about why its bad??
Of course its bad it puts people's lives at risk because stupid ass ricer's drive stupid.. and believe me i'll back anyone up when they say street racing in traffic is stupid.. I dunno why when anyone post about going 120+ mph or street racing the thread gets closed, or they get flamed its not right cause everyone and their mother street races.. i'm 22, a doctor, i've pured 7000+ into my motor and i street race why? because its fun I don't do it every day.. no.. I dont do it during traffic no, i sure as hell dont do it at stoplights, but i race on the istate late nights, or at a very disclosed area.. i dont see why everyone gets so upset about street racing.. I want opinions because every fourm has a kill section and i dunno why HAN doesn't, who says it can't neither?? Just state you dont Condon street racing whats so hard..

Lemme hear some different opinions on this.

BTW: I dont expect to get banned for voicing my opinion upon this situtation and if i do get banned thats some ghetto ass shit and you've lost a very experinced member at that.. I just wanna see what the rest of the fourm has to say without them being scaried of being banned..

EVERYONE Races.. track or street it doesn't matter.

You also have to remember street racing is illegal...whether or not some of us do it or not is besides the point...you wouldnt want to open a forum specific to murders...which is basically what street racing is...murder that you do for cheap thrills. You hit a pole...kill other people...im pretty sure that would be vehicular manslaughter...so to openly just talk about it is retarded. Here in philly if you're caught street racing kiss ur license goodbye and wave bye bye to ur pretty car as im sure i'll be looking at it at future auctions.

 

street racing is a bad idea. i have done it... but i stopped. i recently read this article in one of the tuner mags, and the pictures were gut wrenching. i just think it's a bad idea. innocent people shouldn't have to worry about a car flying across a median doing 100+ and killing them & their entire family. i have two friends who died earlier this year in a street race gone wrong... and one wasn't even in it. a buddy in an integra blew a tire @ 114 and spun into an intersection, strinking another friend's cavelier. he was sitting @ a light, and died. he never even saw the car coming. i'm engaged, and i don't wanna be @ any more risk than i need to. tracks are the way to go. controlled, (somewhat) safe environments. go to a track, wear a helmet... stay alive. it's that easy.

whether it's on a highway, or a dark country road, it is dangerous. it's dangerous to others. it's dangerous to ourselves. i'm 17 years old... and i have decided to not street race ever again. i have too much to live for... as i'm sure most everyone around here does as well. i agree w/ previous statements... keep it on the track.
