there are many reasons why they dont condone street racing threads here, you must agree with at least one of these:
-they can cause excessive flaming
-they are in support of illegal activities
-they are in support of potentially dangerous situations for the people around those who do it as well as those participating.
-there is no form of validation that some of these things ever happened, and BS is just a waste of netspace
-it creates role models on sites that set bad examples for others
-it gives people more of a reason to go out and street race, bragging rights
-they can cause excessive flaming
-they are in support of illegal activities
-they are in support of potentially dangerous situations for the people around those who do it as well as those participating.

Do legal issues for the owners of the site mean anything to you? They stand the biggest losses and as far as I am concerned, they can do whatever the hell they want. This is clearly not a democracy and anyone who feels otherwise is mistaken.
