Best Buy can kiss my ass
I bought a PS2 controller from there, and the kid ringin me up sold me on the 2 year replacement plan...Well he told me it covers EVERYTHING...I asked him specifically if it covered physical damage and he was like oh hell yeah man...so like if your roommates drop it or mess it up bring it right back in and we will toss you a new one...so I was like bet..and got it.....well it broke..my roommate dropped it on our concrete floor in the basement and broke it....so I take it in and they tell me this thing only covers manufacturer defects...so I get a manager who just repeats the exact same thing the pebcac told me and is very rude...so I naturally went off on her about there training and selling practices...so now I am debating on calling corporate or not /
it covers damage due to normal usage.
when it comes to that theres a line between use and abuse and its usually the managers call to make. :wiggle:
if a button or a joystick stopped working or something along those lines they would have replaced it.

their PRP sales actually effect their rank among the other cashiers.
if you ever see balloons being tied to a certain person's register, that is more than likely the number of PRPs they've sold that day.
basically, it sucks ass being a cashier at best buy because you are literally at the bottom of the totem (sp?) pole and if you dont sell PRPs they assume you can't sell product, and you'll never get promoted to a 'real' department.
most employees with no experience in retail start in the operations (cashier/customer service) dept and have to prove themselves there in order to get into a sales spot.
luckily the girl that interviewed me happened to be the wireless supervisor and wanted me for her dept even though i was 16 and had no experience.

basically, if you wanna yell at someone, ask for the operations senior or supervisor. they are the ones that push the cashiers to sell PRPs. if you wanna go a level up, go to the operations manager because they are the ones pushing the senior/supervisor to push the cashiers.
just go easy on the lil cashiers.. they are just trying to better their lives at best buy smurfs
