Sad news, they're closing the TRU nearest to my house. The other TRU's in my area are sitting infront of major malls. :sad:

I don't know what to do on my lunch breaks now. I have the 4 new Alternators and there really isn't anything else out in retail stores that I'm interested in. :happysad:

 

They're converting it to a Kids R Us ... That TRU was there since the late 80's / early 90's ... :cry:

I'm having that "problem" now also. There's not much out there ... for now.

I'll use this week to keep an eye on eBay and find the cheapest preorders available. (TFC 21, e-hobby Twincast, Takara Battle Prime, e-hobby Battle Magnus, etc ...)

You could always get the trainbot set off of etoys.com for $22.99.

 

according to TFW2005, about 73 of them coast to coast. Some that are still profitable are being converted to Kids R Us stores.

I've noticed in IL, the ones that are going down are stand alone locations that aren't close to a mall.

 

Hmm. The TRU down the street from home is a combo TRU/KRU with Toys on one side and clothes on the other.

 

:cry: do people shop for their kids at a KRU? Honestly, I thought places like Target and Walmart were the places to go for stuff like that. (pampers, baby wipes, clothes, etc)

Either way, this blows.
