I don't care if someone is a "journalist" or a blogger. If they provide simple pure facts, then that's the news I want.

It appears as though the only reason your article would not be considered biased is because it agrees with your point of view on the matter.

Yeah there is a stark contrast between what was said before and what is said now but calling bias simply because it shows facts pointing to a way of thinking you don't believe in is pretty narrowminded.

 

Drudge doesn't so much report the facts as he rather edits and re-presents the facts. I take it you didn't read the article I posted just a couple posts before?

btw, the NY times is no less a liberal media organization than Fox news is a conservative organization.... so if we wanna rule out Fox news as a credibile source, out the door goes the times...

 

I skimmed it. I read enough and heard enough on CNN today to come to my own conclusion that she's a moron that needs to find something better to do. And the league of morons she's leading need to do the same.

Anyways, I haven't read fully into her story, beyond how conservatives are leaping in to attack her. I will sit down and do that after my lunch break though

 

her cause may be noble and i shouldnt judge her values/beliefs anymore than i want her or anybody else to judge mine but she's going crazy, camping out in front of the ranch is a bit extreme IMO. and sacrificing her marriage after losing a son.... what does she have going for her? unlikely that one day W is going to wake up and say "ah shit that lady is right, call the boys back we're coming home" so she tossed her life so the media can tear her up and look like a crazy hag in front of millions..... hope that was worth it. bad enough you lost your son, lady now you're going to give everything else (except calling bush a terrorist) up too?

 

Clifford Irving made up his non-existent relationship with Howard Hughes almost 30 years ago, wrote a book about it and got tons of publicity...but he still made it all up. At about that same time, an editor from Der Stern in Germany decided to publish the "diaries" of Adolf Hitler. Caused a sensation world-wide, but they were made up too. People lie in public all the time, but publicity doesn't automatically convert lies into facts.

Drudge does not get out of his office, apartment or whatever, and cover stories. He doesn't get off his ass. He doesn't work the phones. He doesn't know what hard work is and doesn't care about facts. His object is to get himself publicity. Period. He freely admits it. If making up quotes helps him get his name out there, he'll do it. He's a shill and a whore...mostly for himself...but he's no journalist, and putting on a fedora and trying to look like Walter Winchell (who was no journalist either) doesn't make him into one.
