Prof. Brown: "I think we should eliminate one of the teaching assistant positions. That would take care of it."
Prof. Jones: "We could reduce our scheduled raises instead."
Prof. Brown: " I can't understand why you want to bleed us dry like that, Jones."

the michael moore correlation is not a distorted version of the original statement. it is a correlation between the two. the only real difference between moore and drudge is their form of presentation. moore has a higher budget.

She has changed her tune completely though. Last year, she honored what she felt would be her son's wishes and did not confront the President about this. Now she is saying her son would support what she is currently doing. I must have burned too many brain cells in college, can't seem to understand how that is not a different position

She certainly seems to have an agenda, with what she is saying and how she is saying it, almost as if it were all scripted, hmmm

BTW, her mother had a stroke and Cindy left "Camp Casey"

Drudge does not get out of his office, apartment or whatever, and cover stories. He doesn't get off his ass. He doesn't work the phones. He's a shill and a whore...mostly for himself...but he's no journalist, and putting on a fedora and trying to look like Walter Winchell (who was no journalist either) doesn't make him into one.
uhh... ok.

I feel for her just like anyone else who's lost someone over there. People grieve in different ways and different times. Sometimes, it may only make sense to them. Other times, it's a type of grieving others have witnessed before. Her son's death has taken a toll on the family, there's no doubt about that. That happens when most families lose a loved one. I just hope Mrs. Sheehan and her family can work through all this and find some kind of new definition of normalcy for them.

discuss.

You want to talk about hypocrisy? How about every motherfucker who claims that the war in Iraq is about protecting our freedom, then decries anyone who actually exercises their freedom and protests the war? Thats hypocrisy.

And just who the fuck are you to call her a piece of shit? Where the hell do you get the moral authority?

Honestly, this kind of nosense uncorks the rage within me. You don't really care whether or not she has a legitimate point -- you're chafing because she has the gall to disagree with you and so you call her a piece of shit. Seriously, what the fuck? You've lost all rights to ever complain about anyone calling you names ever again.

hoooly shit, man. you really have a way of completely warping what someone has said by infusing your own viewpoints into your interpretation of that opposing point of view. every single time...

not once in this thread did i say she was a hypocrite for opposing the war. never did i even hint at it. what i did say is that she is a hypocrite given what she said over a year ago, versus what she is saying today.

where the hell do you get the moral authority to question what i can and can not do? didn't you just harp on about freedom of speech in another thread? am i not allowed that same freedom of speech?

you know what kind of nonsense uncorks the rage within me? when some pretentious little shit comes along, mouths off a bunch of drivel, all the while having no clue what the fuck is going on.

so to sum up, learn to read, dickhead.

You said that Cindy Sheehan is "a piece of shit." Did I miss a subtle subtext in there somewhere? No, I didn't. You were just talking shit about someone with whom you disagree.

If I don't have the moral authority to question your behavior, then you don't have the moral authority to question Cindy Sheehan's. Pick one or the other, but don't think for an instant that you're somehow more entitled to judge others than I am.

If you're allowed freedom of speech without having anyone question your speech, then so is Cindy. But if you think you're allowed to criticize her without being critized, then yes, you are a hypocrite.

Go fuck yourself, you self-righteous asshole. Cindy Sheehan's son is dead, and you're calling her a piece of shit for wanting to talk to the man who ordered him into battle? You're as callous and cold as Bush. How dare you presume to dismiss her as a piece of shit.

How, as a man who considers himself a patriot, do you want anything less than full accountability from the man who sent our soldiers to die? How are you not furious at him for going fishing for a month instead of working on a fucking plan to bring home our armed forces safely?

You rank yourself first as a conservative and second as an American, obviously. You're a citizen of the Republican Party, not of the United States. If Bush jailed me for speaking against him, you, allegedly a patriot and a freedom-loving man, would cheer, wouldn't you?

I won't deny. I know I am only over here to secure our country's oil reserves. It's like why we still keep a presence in the South China seas. We need to secure our economy. Everyone has thier opinions as to why we are over here doing our thing, but that's mine.
