hmm, ok, here's a question for the religious people here...with all this debate on when the baby is actually alive, do you think the embryo has a soul at the point of conception?

I thought I was against it.
I found myself in a position where I was w/ a girl and she was cheating on her Fiance with me (this is the quick version, THAT part is not as bad as it sounds).
Me and the girl decided it'd be best to keep it all quiet and have that done. I'd literally be DEAD if it got out (funny b/c they've since split up).
Its easy to say you're pro life until your G/F gets pregnant .

How about you don't those kinds of things if you're not ready to face the consequences of your actions?

You gave me enough. you had sex w/ a girl, she got pregnant, and you took the easy way out.

I'm adopted, and that makes me biased obviously towards pro-life. There were over 200 families that were on the waiting list for me, many of them because they can't have children of their own.
I dont understand why they can't have the baby, and have someone adopt it.

Just think, if I had been aborted, I wouldnt be here writing this message right now, I'd be dead.....

the easy way out is sometimes the best way out. If he wasn't ready to have a baby, or couldn't afford one, what makes you think the kid would have had a good life? I'm not saying that coil222 couldn't have provided him with a good life, I don't know either way, but I know there are a lot of people out there who can't, but choose to have a baby they shouldn't have. Thats why there are so many fucked up people nowadays, becuase they weren't raised correctly by people who should never have had them in the first place.

I think that we, as Americans depend on the Gov'ment too often for too many things. We have a hard time facing up to the responsibilities that our actions result in...thus abortion is born.
