Now the cops are disguised as construction workers and have infrared speed guns mounted on tripods clocking everything in sight. When you get tagged, a cop down the road pulls you over. (You'll see 8 or 9 squad cars in a row about a 1/4 mile down.)
Ticket fee for speeding in a construction zone, $375 and a court date.

Hit and injure or kill a worker and it's $7500 fine and 15 years in prison.

I need to buy a detector again. I had one for two weeks before I sold it so I could finish building my computer. I don't speed that much, rarely over 15 over, but for my age, a ticket will be a b1tch, and I cant afford it.
And the angle of the radar detector does annoy me. They say that it should be as far down on the windshield as possible, and as a last resort you can mount it by the rearview. A friend pointed out that if you have it high like that, it would probobly go off earlier when your coming over hills. Does that seem right?
