Now the cops are disguised as construction workers and have infrared speed guns mounted on tripods clocking everything in sight. When you get tagged, a cop down the road pulls you over. (You'll see 8 or 9 squad cars in a row about a 1/4 mile down.)
Ticket fee for speeding in a construction zone, $375 and a court date.
Here in Michigan the fines are doubled and so are the points. Speed limit in construction zone 45mph unless posted otherwise.
Hit and injure or kill a worker and it's $7500 fine and 15 years in prison.
