around here, there have been a shit load of highway construction worker deaths. These were caused by wreckless drivers speeding, talking on a cell ... just anything except driving.
Now the cops are disguised as construction workers and have infrared speed guns mounted on tripods clocking everything in sight. When you get tagged, a cop down the road pulls you over. (You'll see 8 or 9 squad cars in a row about a 1/4 mile down.)
Ticket fee for speeding in a construction zone, $375 and a court date.
