fixed 15 year 5.75 then refinanced at no cost to 5.125 fixed 15year. works fine for us. we'v already paid 50% of what we borrowed back.

I had in the range of $5k+ until my wife was fired for being pregnant!@#$ now we owe a lot...but we have a son we're very proud of! Working off the debt currently.

well i would imagine the amount you finance is also a lot less. our goal was to get under the jumbo loan and the increased interest rate that goes with it.
