If not, are you sure the flywheel's teeth are in good condition?
How about the gearend on the starter itself? Pulled it and looked at condition on it?

My main concern is how im gonna get home since i have bout 100 dollars to my name....Im gonna see if enterprise can grant me a one way rental to philly...they say they dont do it however they can accomadate me if necesary...so im gonna go there tomorrow and see what they say

flywheel, flexplate,....blaH BLAH. either way, the starter engages it. and if it is spinning, the crank should be spinning. i don't think the starter is engaging correctly, or like said before (which is HIGHLY unlikely), there's a shitload of teeth missing. (however that woulda happened 
)
