bottom line-
theres no point in arguing, let people believe what they believe and if you disagree with them then you have the statisfaction of letting them continue being stupid. politics is something that niether side will budge on. no matter what happens someone will complain about it because people have nothing better to do then complain. i do have this to say tho.

eveyone that is complaining about bush-
FRIGGIN DEAL WITH IT! stop whining about how the voting was riggid because you wont change anything. were all so tired of hearing you complain because you didnt get your way. what you should do is stop whining about how much you hate the war and everything else and start accepting the fact the war will continue and also start supporting our troops instead of spreading your negativity (holy run on sentence).

to those who support bush-
all you gotta say is "i voted for bush". there is no point about raving on about how your more american than the next person. i seriously doubt you dont have something mixed in you so shut up. all your doin is giving people another reason from the other side a reason to complain and get more pissed off.

 

uh its kinda our job and RIGHT as american citizens to make sure that we get what the majority of us represented which IS NOT HAPPENING. and if there was no point in arguing then this tread wouldnt continue on now would it? Im tired of all these people telling everyone to just settle for whats happening. Im not going to settle because if everyone just accepts what happens and no one judges it then it will continue to happen. only fools would place absolute power to someone and not even question what they are doing.

Yes, when one joins the armed forces you put your life at risk, whether it's during wartime or peacetime. There are many dangerous jobs that can hurt or kill people everyday. I know from my own experience that aboard an aircraft carrier is not the safest living environment. My first year we had a plane go down during flight operations off the CA coast, and two plane crewmembers were lost. In my own department, we were in charge of conducting underway replenishments and handling that evolution was sketchy indeed. I've got pics somewhere but I'll have to look.

 

how do you know what the majority of americans want? since when do you represent more than 50% of the united states? have you talked to at least 50% of the united states? do you even know 50% of the united states?

what proof do you have that then that the voting was rigged? oh yeah and last time i checked kerry said that he quit before all the votes were counted because he knew he had lost and he ended it respectfully and with dignity.

 

so your saying people should join the military to sit at bases all day and not do the job they are trained to do? and i have friends over there by choice, they know what they signed up for they knew the risks. The military goes out of it's way to fail you on their physicals so it's not like they pass anyone. I don't agree with all of the reasons why we are over there but what's done is done. If you force them to pull out now more innocent people are going to die in the upcoming power vacuum. Technically right now we are the stable pillar keeping up Iraq and Afghanistan (sp?). But I mean a job is a job when you sign up for it you know what your getting yourself into. If you joined the marines to expect a cushy ride well then you joined the wrong group.

Personaly i think bush are kerry are corporate whores. we would be better off with people who dont make trillions of dollars by letting american soldiers go to iraq and afgan and get killed. All i have to say left is i dont want ANY president that is a puppet but thats all were gunna get till we get some government reforms in this country.

polls and surveys are biased to those who want to take them and participate in them. If you go to areas where there is a high influence of such and such party don't expect to get an equal spread. anyways polls and surveys only question a portion of the population who wish to be questioned is all i'm saying. even if all the polls reported that kerry got all the votes i highly doubt that's true because bush will at get at least 1% of those votes.
