Why does anyone care whether or not the usa landed on the moon? If you ask me goin to the moon was a dumb idea in the first place. What's the point? Braggin rights? Maybe the government should be working on the poverty issues instead of planting us flags on inhabitable areas.

Don't ya'll get mad though that is my opinion. It's also biased because i don't like the us government, but they can do what they want it's not my business.

 

I agree with the 1st part of what you said, for the most part.
Second part, not so much.

 

Well if you are just talking about ones oppinion... why do anything? Why does one chew gum? Why does someone replace their tires when they are worn out, why not just walk?

There is a reason they did it. I wasn't there and I didn't have a say so I can't say 100% what that reason is. Not everyone thinks poverty is a big issue. No everyone cares that some parts of the world cannot sustain themselves but we are doing it so well that we have enough left over that we can shoot guys to the moon.

 

well first of all it was a way to get americans to look away from the cuban missile crisis. i think it was a good thing because it created healthy and safe competition between countries, and now it can be used as a bridge between countries. It also gives other countries to look at us in a good light, showing what we accomplished. Some think its a good thing because we can eventually go there if we run out of resources, but i don't think so. Also it taught us a lot on how our universe was formed. And last but not least, its pretty cool

 

the first thing you said doesn't make any sense. That's not opinion you are referring to that's reasoning. You chew gum if your breath stinks. Or whatever reason you choose to chew gum for. You replace your tires because if you don't you probably willl have to walk. You shoot guys to the moon... i guess the reason is so that people like us can argue. :wtf:
