They kill low end torque. Not a good idea when used on an already torqueless 4-cylinder Honda for street purposes. h:

They sound sick as shit though.

I thought so too, may be a general Plenum housing? Couple people at Endyns told me to make a Plenum Intake manifold with the ITB design for my Turbo application. May be I'd do that instead? Since it'd be use on street sometimes.

I agree, but I don't think it'd be a problem if I go for some high boost, say over 400 to the wheel? :dunno: I'd have to see about my drivetrain and traction control as well

The other night on MTV they did a True Life: I'm a Street Racer. Long story short, a guy in a blue RHD DC2 (with a USDM front bumper!!!!! :dunno: + Type-R lip) with LS/VTEC and ITB and he ended up racing some other guy twice and lost $500 then tried to race him again and won but he blew his motor

Welcome to 4 years ago. That thing is very old. And no it wasent a USDM front bumper it was a jdm car as not all integras have the type-r one peice headlights. I do enjoy watching it though.

Why? It's just a thought. I won't do the ITB. Just a thought that it'd be interesting concept. I'd rather make a similar one to this

I know TWM sells a cover up manifold that goes of the ITB to run a intake system. You could look into that.

Like some folks already mentioned, you can get filters that go on each air horn. For example here is a Miata with a set of R.S. Aizawa ITBs with such filters:

There are also "cake" air filters available that go around all four air horns.

Cars that come from the factory with ITBs (BMW M, Nissan Skyline GT-R, etc) usually run a plenum which surrounds the airhorns and has a tube going to a filter at a remote location. TWM makes a similar airbox for their ITB kits. Here it is on a VW:

But TWM states that this airbox is not designed to be pressurized, so no dice with a forced induction application.
