ITB questions

I saw some awsome ITB setups, DIY ITBs and Manufactured ITBs, but I don't see any air filter? How does ITB work again? And what about the filtration part? :thinking:

Since they are for race cars usually, they often run them open. Otherwise they stick like a little cone filter on each one.

usually used for race with no filtration

otherwise there are individual filters for each TB or an airbox.
