while my home setup might be faster and more practical for home.... for work.... well this is a whole new game here.
Work runs a transparent proxy. So they only way to bypass it is to specifically use something else. I have one setup that I can use from home, but it's bottlenecked by my slow upload speed on the cable modem. However... this new google proxy... oh yes.
2 reasons GWA is staying active on my work machine.
1) it's faster and more reliable than works proxy. The corporate proxy is underpowered and regualarly gets slow and just stops serveing pages. The google one is great!
2) No filtering. The corporate one is highly filtered (partly causing some of it's slowness) so you can't get to some things. Not with google :rick:
