we can but you have to have a gun permit, that requires aplication and you have to have 2 or 3 references, one (or 2?) of them has to be from a person in a civil position. even then you arent garaunteed to get it. then once you have taken the pistol course and your application is approved, you have to go buy a gun (to prove that you can handle the buying process ) which you cant take home until your permit is approved and in your posession. its a bitch.

 

Does the person in a civil position have to be from NY?

 

I have a question for the gun nuts in this thread... did they ever make a real H&K SOCOM that looks like the one in Metal Gear Solid 2?

i believe so.

did i mention that you have to pay? (i think its something like 190$) and that means nothing. if your application gets denied, you're out the cash :happysad:

i know they do different forms of background checks etc. and they actually check your references. i havent subjected myself to the process yet but its not far away. im trying to convince my gf to take it with me, i even told her i'd pay for her first gun.
