you have to be very lean to uhm, not have any love handles at all.

high reps.
watch what you eat. low fat. low calories arent necessary if you work out enough.
run your ass off.

Oh and I'm sure you aren't, but I'm just saying that fat isn't something you just go "OH I want to work off that part" and voila, you have fatty arms AND 6 pack abs and a small waistline. No, it doesn't work like that

It doesn't?? Hmm, and they said that magic wand I bought for 2 grand would solve all my problems....

Love handles are the enemy, they will hate you all your life, they will be the last to go and the first to come back. The best way I have found to get rid of them happens in this order of importance:

1. Diet
2. Cardio
3. Working the ever loving hell out of them

My workout comes from the Men's Health Workout, although I have some different variations and a couple more exercises.

And a swiss ball is your best friend no matter how much it hurts....

run for at least 20 minutes a day and lower your food intake.... throw in some wieght lifting so you hold onto your muscle
