Default JB Welds?

How well do these stand up when used to cover up exhaust holes?

I used JB Weld to stick a phone reciever to the switches on the base. You'd be able to pick up the reciever just enough so that it was considered 'off the hook' but you couldn't actually take it off... the hook. So they'd have to put it back down again, putting it 'on the hook' and hanging up on the caller.

It was great for a few laughs.

I used to be a big fan of JB Weld, but then I learned to weld for real and now I don't use it very much. I wouldn't just fill holes with JB weld...find a piece of sheet metal or something to glue over the hole. The joint strength depends a lot on surface prep, so clean whatever you're gluing real well.

They should be fine. I used them on my muffler and it worked great. Just make sure you give it enought time to dry before you drive it. I think its 24 hrs.
