free hp 4.1megapixel camera and all in one printer, scanner, copier..

got it for 999 after the easy rebates :thumbup:

yours sounds like a good deal, and mine is 8lbs, isnt that bad at all

Compaq is junk. I've owned 2, I know, :doh:. I should have not purchased the second one after the first one literally fell apart. Compaq in their infinite wisdom decided to attach the hinges directly to the LCD cover. The LCD cover on the Presario 700s is made out of plastic, very brittle (over time) plastic. The only peice of metal in the whole entire LCD assembly is a tiny, pop can gauge backing plate. Consequently the plastic cracked right around the hinges and one day, the entire LCD assy seperated from the base. The only thing holding it together was the cable. The second one had just about every component replaced save the DVD drive and the processor. I made them take it back and got a refund.

wow.. that bad huh?? but wat abt the R3000Z series?? i've seen it in the stores, and it looked kinda decent...

I cannot comment on the recent ones. The last one I bought (and eventually returned) was almost two years ago.

I don't like Compaqs....but don't take my opinion too seriously. I have this bias towards Dell's :dunno:
