this looks like an awesome deal... from office depot...

Compaq Presario R3000Z notebook
- Athlon XP-M CPU 2800+
512MB RAM
60G HD
54GWireless
DVD-rom/CD-RW combo
15" screen
12-cell battery
FREE HP deskjet 3847 color inkjet printer

for $620.00.... watcha think?? a good deal?? other laptop i've been looking at are the ones from Dell, and Toshiba...but they're soo expensive... anyone have any experience with the Compaq notebook?? thanx

My mom was looking to get that. I bet its a huge bish. And MIR are I think imma tell her to wait it out.

true that... but it's goin thru office depot tho... if anything happends, i can just go to their store and bitch at them

The store doesnt handle the rebates. h: Not to say Office Depot is bad on rebates. Just that I bet they will tell you to call and bitch to someone at the rebate help center h:

nah, weight doesn't bother me.. i could use the workout too but is compaq reliable?

No! I've had mine for 2 years and its only crashed once (lost all data) and I've only had to replace the hard drive once!
