That was a minor incident.

I remember back in 1993 when the internet was just a baby. MUSEs, MUDDs, and other chat places were all text. I was part of a MUSE that was dungeons and dragons based. We all decided that we should have a get together in Cleveland, OH.

About 30 of us showed up. The get together was somewhat funny. You had the metal heads, preppies, computer geeks, and jocks. I was in the preppies. So we had hamburgers and hot dogs, your typical picnic.

Somoene brought along some Super Soakers and started a water fight. I happen to pick up one that was lying around and joined in the fun. Girl came up behind me (found out later she was somewhat mental) and said "That water gun is MINE!" And she pulled out a knife.

Now mind you I just tested for my black belt about 1 month prior and most of my self defenses were still fresh in my head. My 1st reaction when I saw the knife was to go for the wrist, because when you bend the wrist your grasp on items gets weaker. Once I bent her wrist I grabbed the knife out of her hand. Spun it around and pointed it back at her face and said "IF YOU DON'T PUT THIS KNIFE AWAY I'M NOT GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU!" And then I slammed the knife into the picnic table, so it stuck there.

I turned to look and had about 30 pairs of eyes all agape Like they couldn't believe 1) she pulled a knife on me, and 2) that I disarmed her that quickly. For the next couple of months that was the talk on the MUSE site. I left about 2 hours after that because I was in a room right next door to her at the hotel.

I've been in one "fight" ever. A coupla years ago when I was working as a camp counselor I was at a house party on a night off from camp. This dude who had a long history of talking unprovoked shit to me, to which I generally did not respond, decided it would be fun to take his balls out and wave em around in my general direction while I was sitting at the kitchen table chillin with some other people, minding my own business not even talking to him. I got up from the table and the guy ran away towards the front hall. I spun him around and said that he's been talking shit at me for too long and he was no longer allowed to say anything to me unless it somehow related to doing our job. He asked what I would do to make him, to which I replied if he ever tried something again it would result in physical harm. He thought I was bluffing, took his glasses off, and told me to go ahead. So I hit him in the jaw, threw him to the floor, and kicked him around a few times. He got up and tried to throw a punch at me, I put him in a headlock, dragged him out the front door, and told him to go back to camp. He left the party, I stayed and chilled out with some nice hashish courtesy of one of my friends.

Aside from that one incident though I'm a very peaceful guy. Everyone has their limit, and that was mine.

jwfy.

ive been in a handful of fights but most of 'em were petty shit with guys in the neighborhood, you know the ones where you are messin around and it turns ugly so you have to throwdown. we always got over it within a day or 2 and everything would be cool again.

haven't been in a fight since 8th grade.
Some kid took my bike without asking and wrecked it. Later, he gave me the money to fix the damage, and then asked for it back. I told him it was now my money since he owed it to me. He thought he was gonna be big and bad and started pushing me while I was sitting on my bike (he was somewhat of a bully to other kids at school), so I slapped him. Then he got me in a headlock and I started punching him in the stomach..when he let go, I punched him twice in the face and we got broken up by other kids (I would've kept going if the girl I had a crush on hadn't been trying to stop me).
after that, nothing, thankfully. I don't like fighting, but I will if I have to.
