It depends on the sales person.
I mean its not like my friend are I dress up in suits to go car shopping.
We probably had on a sweater an jeans.
It was in November so the weather is getting chilly by then.

Ohh well I wouldnt spend 200 grand anyway on a car.

h: What were you doing test driving them? Got bored one day?
I was bored and wanted to drive something different.
The Ferarri was ok but not really as impressive as I expected and the Lambo was just a fun car though ergonomically it was lacking.

A lot of dealerships in this calibre will ask for a deposit before allowing a test drive or a full credit check (at least now they do) there is something about some schmuck off the street rolling off in a $100k+ car and putting miles on it as a joyride.

Aside from the fact that every Ferrari board I am a part of or every Ferrari owner I talk to is more interested in what the F car does in F1 and other series, unlike this forum and most Honda forums where people tend to forget where Honda started in - racing.

I remember the early 90s when the Ferrari F1 program was a joke, Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger were two boneheads who couldn't win a race without the whole field dnfing. I remember telling everyone that Ferrari would bounce back with vengeance. I remember the anger during the 1999 season when a certain Irish bloke named Eddie Irvine effed up even though he had more than one opportunity to seal the driver's title for Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari was a humble man who created an empire, the philosophy he had of making road cars and using the money for racing is still alive.

My love for Ferrari is superceeded by one name and one car, the late great Mr. Ayrton Senna and the McLaren Honda MP4/4. No matter what Ferrari does in F1 they will never be able to emulate the 1988 season when Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna won all but 1 race. They fought like real men, no one was getting sloppy seconds and there was no favoritism.

:wtf:

I guess to be a car enthusiast then you have to follow racing

Thats not what he is saying at all.....in fact you will notice his love of Ferarri stems from seeing them perform. Haven't you ever watched a sport and seen a product really perform under extreme pressure and began to follow its history as well as its performance?

If you say no then I am going to call bullshit on it because it has happened to all of us.
