You want to know why I like Ferrari? Aside from the fact that they are still dedicated to racing and 90% of Ferrari enthusiasts are more interested in racing than a way of life. Aside from the fact that every Ferrari board I am a part of or every Ferrari owner I talk to is more interested in what the F car does in F1 and other series, unlike this forum and most Honda forums where people tend to forget where Honda started in - racing.

I remember the early 90s when the Ferrari F1 program was a joke, Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger were two boneheads who couldn't win a race without the whole field dnfing. I remember telling everyone that Ferrari would bounce back with vengeance. I remember the anger during the 1999 season when a certain Irish bloke named Eddie Irvine effed up even though he had more than one opportunity to seal the driver's title for Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari was a humble man who created an empire, the philosophy he had of making road cars and using the money for racing is still alive.

My love for Ferrari is superceeded by one name and one car, the late great Mr. Ayrton Senna and the McLaren Honda MP4/4. No matter what Ferrari does in F1 they will never be able to emulate the 1988 season when Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna won all but 1 race. They fought like real men, no one was getting sloppy seconds and there was no favoritism.

:wtf:

I guess to be a car enthusiast then you have to follow racing
