Kinda curious because every mechanic here in town seems to fudge something up doing the basic work. I went in to get an alignment and a new axle put on, well they fudged up the axles again. Third different place that has done that, maybe I outta just drive the 60 miles and take it to our family mechanic from now on.

Not bitching just curious, I mean is there something wierd about Hondas or imports in general that would cause some places to have issues?

 

Most mechanics spend most of their time around domestics. Import guys are more of specialists and each make is different. I think that's most of it.

 

That's only partially true. In areas where imported cars are fairly common and have been for some time, you'll see lots of general import oriented shops.

 

I think Honda mite be one of the easiest I have ever worked on...hell changin an axle shouldnt take more than 30 minutes with air tools.

 

Once you get the axle nut loose

 

bah...5 foot breaker bar with 32mm impact socket....bitch wants to fly the hell off....that or an overboard impact wrench :chuckles:

 

hondas are the easiest cars to work on out there today IMO

 

all you need is a 10mm, 14mm and 17mm socket and you can take the whole car apart.
