Any gun experts?
What's the best 9mm gun to buy. Would it be a Glock, S&W, or what? Which model, and what would i expect to pay? Question being, what would be the best 9mm for the buck? Any info or opinions appreciated.
I'd have to say the best 9mm firearm is the MP5 Navy. Have fun coughing up the ~$15k
for one in addition to the paperwork, background check, and about 6 months waiting for the transfer to go through. :chuckles:
Assuming you mean pistols in 9x19mm Parabellum, you'll have to find a range that rents them for use on their range and try them. A Glock 17 feels totally different from a Beretta 92F, but you'll find plenty of people claiming either to be the "best." The same goes for many, many others.
I really enjoy my CZ-83 in 9x17mm (9mm Kurz, 9mm Browning, .380 Automatic, it's all the same.)

The best 9mm I've shot IMO is the springfield xd9. IMO it beat the glock, baretta 92fs, and the s&w 9 that I've shot.
But yea, go to the range, get a bunch of rounds, rent a few 9's, and see what you like.

Guns are so subjective, its impossible to tell you which is "best." As everyone said, you need to go to a store/range that has several sizes/brands/styles that you can test out, and just try them out. One of them will just feel right. Thats the best advice I can give you.
By the way, do you know what size of a 9mm you want? Do you want something full size, something compact, something for concealed carry? If you let us know what size frame you're looking for, we can point you in the right direction for what to look at.

St8edge said it best.
Best is relative to what you want out of a firearm, and what budget you have.
Think of firearms like cars, there is no single "best" car, only best in catagories, specialties, and price ranges.
