bleh.. same thing happend in the 80's with the japanese yen... the japanese bought up all kinds of stock and real estate. this influx of revenue from sales helped to spurn the economic boom of the 90's. cause and effect

Exchange $10k into Euro's.
Fly to Europe.
Exchange Euro's into Dollars.
Fly back.
Rub one out.
Repeat.

yeh, but that was a lull, the euro is still more steady than the dollar and the dollar just seems to be getting worse and worse these days

yeah a 3 year lull. just like the USD is in one now. it doesn't hurt the US. it hurts companies based outside of US doing business in the US, even then, it only hurts their bottom line.

whens the last time you heard a US company complaining?

From what I've heard, the euro is overvalued.. :dunno: I can't really speak to that claim, since I certainly don't have a background in finance and trading.

But from the standpoint of risk, I'd start trading in oil futures before jumping into the currency market. h:

Two words for you South America, your $$'s will go farther, but if you have your heart set on Europe, stock up on your Canadien t shirts and stuff. Not a bad article, clearly stating the obvious and all. Now that he does not have to get re-elected, perhaps he won't crush us under a legacy of debt, to avoid the unpleasant things that must be done to heal up our economy, politicians don't often get into the realm of plain spoken truth.

I'm going with my girlfriend to her home country, so Europe it is And yeah, while I'm a US citizen, I'm a southern californian, and if you play your cards right, people just clamor to talk to you about celebreties, themeparks, and the lifestyle Last time she was home visiting, her friends would convince her to call me up to talk about Californian stuff to them... But the Canadian trick works well (Tried it, gets you service in French resturants h: )

Or I could get this: :reechy:
