if soften up the rear and stay off the curbs it is a lot more managable. It wants to understeer pretty bad when you are braking, just brake early and floor it into turns. once you get it straight and settled it is amazing how fast it will brake.

Yep. I did exactly that on the second run and it was cleaner, but what killed my time was when I trailbraked a bit too much heading into the Carousel.
Talk about snap oversteer. h:

I dunno, I'm no stranger to the track.. I just prefer the R89 and R92 for their superior torque. h:

I don't know how much faster we're gonna get, that was pretty much a flawless run. It might be seperated in tenths of seconds now :chuckles:

Still room for improvement. I was doing another run and at the top of the map was a full seven seconds ahead of my 5'45.441 time, then caught grass with my right rear tire and fell behind. :rant:

More tomorrow.

I was gonna save this for tomorrow, but here it is:


I glanced through a GT4 forum and people were posting times in the 4:50 range... no pics though, but i believe it. I mean I haven't played in months, and some people are really serious about this game.
