To make oatmeal a little better, add some peanut butter or a little cinnamon, makes all the differece.

When I am on my bulking diet, I eat and peanut butter and banana sammich as soon as I get up, get showered and ready for work, and then eat either a protein bar or another pb sammich on the way out the door.

When I am on my cutting diet I eat a bowl of oatmeal and 6 boiled eggs, two with the yolks and 4 just whites for breakfast.

If you eat breakfast, it will make you metabolism start for the day, since it does not think that you are starving it anymore. I try to keep my going all night while I sleep by drinking a protein shake made with whole milk right before I go to bed.

Right now, I am still in my bulking phase, will be done with that in about 15 days, and then going into cutting, in which life really sucks. Currently, I am 5'8" and right around 174 lbs. In April I should be about 156 or so. Body fat will be minimal, something under 7, right now it is about 13 or so.

I just ate my oatmeal with bananas again. It didn't taste as bad this time around.

I think my body fat is around 29%. h: I'm trying to cut, I ate about 2300 calories yesterday. Today, I'm going to shoot for 2000. I plan on doing cardio today, probably two 30 minute sessions, one in the morning and one at night.

When I started 3 years ago, mine was close to 30%, it just takes a lot of work and determination.

You will get there. I am nowhere near what I want to be, but I am closer than I was... Just stick with it, results come quick at first and then slower, but take status pictures to keep you motivation up.

Yeah, I should take pictures. h: I'm hoping to see some changes within the next 2 months.

Man, 2000 calories isn't much. :happysad: I've already eaten like 900 calories today. Time to work out!

I know that pictures provide me with a lot more information that looking in the mirror. That is just for me though. I dont look at myself in mirror and see anything good as far as progress, so I put the pitures beside each other and compare, and then see what I want to work on for the next week or two.

During the winter I dont take any frontal shots due to my abs going away due to diet, but I still try to get muscle development with my arms, shoulders, back, and legs.

And my cutting diet I drop from 3600 calories a day to 1200. So it sucks for a little while, but the results are great

Using fitday huh? It's a great tool for tracking/estimating calorie intake. Too bad I'm too lazy to continue using it. h:

I agree with taking progress pics. It's always nice to track progress and gain motivation from seeing how far you've come.
