Wow you obviously haven't driven the SRT-4.

 

SRT-4 has more power and more power potential.

WRX has awd, an actually useful amount of suspension travel, and I fit in the seats.

For that price range I would look at neither. RSX-S if I wanted something practical, Mazdaspeed Miata if I did not.

maybe you can confirm or deny this. ive been told that while driving the WRX, when you shift into 2/4 your elbow hits the seat bolstering. ive heard that gets to be a pain in the ass. i also heard some complain about the armrest but having never driven one i cant make the call myself.

 

The 1G two door DOHC's were fun though. Really fun.

I didn't have any of those problems, but I'm not a very big guy.

ive also heard that the seats in teh srt-4 dont allow for wallet, that its uncomfy and you have to take it out to be really comfy in the seat.

as for the WRX, im about 6'1 and a friend of mine who is my same size/build/height is the one that told me about the seat bolster gettin in teh way.

Well, it's hard for me to sit in the seats. But you can get regular seats if you option the side airbags.
