Thanks you all. The first couple of times, I laffed it off because I've been made fun of like that ever since people found out about it somehow (whether they heard it from someone or I told - whatever) Close friends wouldn't make a prank call involving something they know you're extremely sensitive to. But I -am- better than those hors and they won't get my number now. IF they somehow managed to get it, Mandi, I'll save those messages and bring them to the cops. Good idea! Thanks!

No he didnt. I'm highly against surgerys like that...so i wanted him to try the chiro first. The reason he went in teh 1st place was because he had a pinched nerve in his shoulder, causing shooting pains in his arm and his pinky and ring finger side of his ahnd was numb ALL THE TIME. He woke up in tears almost everyday and had to use his right arm to move his left arm when he first woke up. He went to a specialist for it and had nerve tests and all kinds of crap done. The only thing those doctors did was diagnose him with the pinched nerve. The next Dr. said surgery was the only way to fix it. I told him right there in the Dr office that i wouldnt let him get the surgery until he tried all other options first.

So i took him to my Chiro and within 6 months, his pinched nerve no longer bothered b/c he was aligned back up the way he's supposed to be. My chiro also found out through x-rays that his neck didnt have the cervical curve that it's supposed to. He had what was called "Miltary neck", where it's almost or completely straight. That puts a hell of a lot of strain on those nerves in your neck. They also found the Scoliosis. His body was so out of wack, it was ridiculous. Within those 6 months, his neck and back had both improved by about 10 degrees or more, each..which is a signficant number.

He litterly gained 2 inches or more in height and has no more pain.

A lot of people don't believe in chiropractors...i have 1st hand experience when them and i love the one i go to now. The guy my mom has been going to has gotten rid of her carpal tunnel. My ex's pinched nerve was fixed, his curve issues have improved more than we ever thought they would. They help me with the curve in my back, my migraines...it even helps my asthma and allergies.

It's hard to find a good, quality chiropractor...but believe me, theyre out there. Had you been enducated on this, and found a good one, i guarantee you wouldve been spared those surgeries.

I was diagnosed with Scoliosis when I was 13 or so. They said because of the severity and how rapidly it was curving surgery would be the only way to stop it from curving anymore and more or less save my life. Had they waited for me to go to a chiropractor or wait until I hit my growth spurt, the curve would have doubled. The 1st surgery, they placed steel rods on either side of my spine. 3 years later, they broke and I had to get them taken out and replaced with titanium rods. A year after that, I got an infection from the rods. So I went in again and had 3 more surgeries (1 to take out the rods, 2 to clear out the infection)

I'm not against chiropractor's or anything. I went to one after the last surgery 4 years ago to help me regain feeling in my thighs (most of my nerves were damaged the right side of my body) and to stregthen my back and it worked. I didn't want the surgery personally, but I had no choice. My parents are the one's who decided that I should have it and even they really didn't want it but saw no other options available for the severity and type of scoliosis I had. I still have minor pain now and again in my shoulders, but it's usually caused by weather (rain, snow, etc) and whether or not I've drank a decent amount of water during the day.
