From what I've heard, it's against the law for Telemarketers to call cell phone numbers. And if you tell them it's your cell phone, they will usually say I'm sorry and hang up. There is a web site you can go to get on that do not call list but I forgot what it is called.
Anyway, smurf they were right about ignoring people. And you can also laugh along with them. The main thing is to let them know it doens't bother you.
It's like if I do something stupid like nearly fall over my own feet, I'll just make a little joke about it and carry on. Which is different, but I'm trying to make a point...

Scoliosis causes a lot of pressure on your spinal cord and nerves. It could very well be that where the curve is in your back, it's pinching hte nerves that go the whole way to your toes.

The longer you let it go, the worse it gets.

And surgery won't always fix it. There's multiple patients at my chiropracter who have hte rods in their back, but it hasnt helped them.

Yeah, and to this day, they still don't know what the cause of scoliosis is. They think it's genetic. My mother's mom has it yet my mom nor her sister got it. And neither did my brother. I didn't know the chiropractic therapy would really help. Did he have surgery on his back too, Mandi?

Thanks you all. The first couple of times, I laffed it off because I've been made fun of like that ever since people found out about it somehow (whether they heard it from someone or I told - whatever) Close friends wouldn't make a prank call involving something they know you're extremely sensitive to. But I -am- better than those hors and they won't get my number now. IF they somehow managed to get it, Mandi, I'll save those messages and bring them to the cops. Good idea! Thanks!

i thought the "blocked number" only came up on your caller ID. if you record the time of the phone call and check it with your phone bill/statement it will list the number. my g/f had a problem with one of her ex's a few yrs ago, he was calling and harrassing her saying he was going to kill her and shit from a blocked number, so we just checked our cell phone bill and it was on there. within a week she had a restraining order for harrassment. the phone calls stopped immediately. but theres always a way to find out what number they are calling from. unless they are a secret organization with the government.
